Three Nights of Warhammer Action with Clumsy Orc Studios
- No Comments
(…and Friday Still to Come!)
It’s been a huge week of Warhammer so far, with packed tables, rolling dice, and a fantastic mix of competitive league play, narrative battles, and coaching games across three busy evenings.
From Monday Madness and Tactical Tuesday at Element Games, through to Wednesday Night Warhammer at Leodis Games, the Vespator Front has been alive with conflict — and the week isn’t even finished yet, with Friday still on the horizon.
Here’s how things have unfolded so far.
Monday Madness – League Battles & Brutal Matchups (Element Games)
Monday kicked off with a full house: 12 players across 6 tables, bringing competitive league games and casual coaching matches together in one buzzing session.
Although one planned league pairing had to be rearranged, Robert stepped in with his Ultramarines to face Lewis’ Votann, taking the fight forward in the Emperor’s name.
Across the room, several fierce matchups played out:
- Steve’s Chaos Knights marched into Liam’s Tau gunlines, with both players chasing their second league victory.
- Jamie’s Tyranids stalked Toby’s Chaos Knights — proving that even when biomass is scarce, starving Tyranids are still deadly.
- Dave C returned to the battlefield with Necrons, facing Sam’s rampaging World Eaters in a brutal clash of living metal versus berserk fury.
- Juan’s Ultramarines went head-to-head with Connor’s Space Wolves — loyal cousins of the Imperium battling for glory.
- Alan made his return to Raven Guard, diving back into stealth, deception, and battlefield misdirection.
With competitive league games, casual play, and coaching all happening simultaneously, Monday Madness delivered exactly what it promised: variety, intensity, and plenty of memorable moments.

Tactical Tuesday – Narrative Carnage & 500-Point Worlds (Element Games)
Tuesday brought a shift in tone, blending two standard competitive games with three narrative 500-point world battles — creating an evening full of cinematic twists and constant momentum swings.
Highlights included:
- Captain Juan’s Blade of Ultramar encountering Sorcerer Jamie’s Rubricae Phalanx for the first time, unleashing devastating psychic power.
- Lewis testing his Dêlve Assault shift, launching compact berserker forces straight into Sam’s Aspect Host Aeldari.
- Stephen’s Ultramarines attempting to storm Tom’s Aeldari stronghold in a tense narrative showdown.
- Lord Stephen and Captain Jerry diving headlong into combat, racing to control objectives across a war-torn battlefield.
- Matt’s grizzled Astra Militarum fighting for survival against Ugo’s Bastion Taskforce — veteran soldiers versus elite defenders.
Three wildly dynamic games played out side by side, with constant back-and-forth action and plenty of dramatic turning points.

Wednesday Night Warhammer – Leodis Games Recap
Wednesday saw the Clumsy Orc community take over Leodis Games for another packed evening of matched play and narrative storytelling.
Matched Play – Mission J: Linchpin
Jon Kaye’s Imperial Guard dug in against Danneh’s Drukhari, showcasing a classic battle of brute-force resilience versus surgical precision. This time, the Guard held firm in a hard-fought contest.
Narrative Games – Seize Power Base
Elsewhere across the sector:
- Craig’s Orks overwhelmed Sam Lomax’s Ultramarines on Ioth — green tide triumphing over blue armour.
- Thomas Moor’s Salamanders brought fire and fury to Malcolm’s Necrons on Felgris Secundas, only to discover just how difficult the undying truly are.
- James’ Raven Guard faced Sam’s Wraithbone Eldar in a tense Supply Base Raid, a shadow-heavy mission that proved to be one of the standout games of the night.
With multiple systems under siege and objectives changing hands, Wednesday delivered a perfect blend of competitive structure and narrative chaos.

The Bigger Picture – War on the Vespator Front
All of these games feed directly into the ongoing narrative campaign: War on the Vespator Front.
Every league result, narrative mission, and heroic last stand shapes the wider story. Territories shift, forces regroup, and new legends emerge with every roll of the dice.
